How does Assisted Hatching works?
L’Assisted Hatching is usually adopted in ART. It consists of creating a hole in the envelope surrounding the embryo.
Under normal conditions, this process takes place when the embryo is in the uterus. Specific enzymes thins the membrane until to dissolve it, allowing the embryo to slip out and implant in the uterine lining.
The obstacle to getting pregnant may be hardened membrane when women is over 38 years or in case of previous treatments that doesn’t works. This is why this laser technique increases the success rate of the paths.
